Shits and bits from the past 12 years.
The best of the rest, if you will.
British Heart Foundation
If blood can’t make its journey, neither will you.
Truth: Daily stresses, if ignored, can lead to heart and circulatory diseases.
Clogging commutes to get people thinking about their heart health.
Ceder’s
Make January anything but dry
Truth: You miss out on more hungover than you do sober.
For many, Dry Jan is seen as a restriction. But what’s restrictive about waking up fresh with a clear head? January’s here, people. And with Ceder’s Distilled Non-Alcoholic, it’s anything but dry.
Bloo
Bursts of Happiness
Truth: The toilet cleaning category is a sea of functional germ-kill messaging.
In a category clogged with sameness, Bloo were failing to achieve cut-through. With this in mind, we wanted to take the brand somewhere less expected, instead focusing on the emotional benefits of having a fresh bathroom. Soon after launching with a press ad, a last-minute opportunity came up to sponsor The Paul O’Grady Show. Rumour has it Paul loved the idents.
Cadbury
Made for big moments
Truth: Cadbury Big Taste is made for sharing.
'The sharing occasion' is quite broad. To give Big Taste a clear space to play in, we positioned them as the bar for big moments. The big game. The big reunion. The big series finale. The big... you get the idea.
Jeyes
That summer feeling starts with Jeyes
Truth: You can’t fully enjoy summer until your garden is ready.
Positioning Jeyes as the key to unlocking that summer feeling. Because only when BBQs are scrubbed, patios are polished and decking is decked out can you really start to enjoy what summer has to offer.
Bloo FoamAroma
HalleLOOjah!
Truth: FoamAroma is the toilet product you never knew you needed.
The word ‘revolutionary’ gets thrown around a lot these days. For many, it’s something that fuels change, impacting society and our way of life. For Bloo, it’s a foaming powder you sprinkle down the toilet. Our brief? To announce the arrival of FoamAroma in a way that builds on our Burst of Happiness positioning.
Oxford Campus Notebooks
Love your thinking
Truth: Brilliance starts with a blank page.
After a drop-off in entries to their ‘Love your thinking’ competition, Oxford Campus wanted to create a couple of social posts to reignite the conversation. To do this, we created two videos that not only captured the spirit of the competition, but the product too.
Canon
Live for the story
Truth: Photos aren’t just moments, they’re stories.
A selection of campaigns from my time on Canon, including:
Winter 2017: Next year is coming. Be ready.
Canon lenses: There’s more to tell
PIXMA printers: Print more pages
Tibet Relief Fund
After 60 years, it’s time to turn this around.
Truth: Tibet’s occupation is one of the world’s least-known tragedies.
Quick history lesson… In 1950, China invaded Tibet. Illegally. Tibet still lives under Chinese rule. Even possession of the Tibetan flag can lead to arrest, imprisonment and in some cases, torture. With 2019 marking the 60th Tibetan National Uprising Day, surely it’s about time something was done to change this?
We’ll, that’s your lot.
